One of our favorite things to do in the fall is going to pick out our Halloween "punkins", (since our gardens didn't do too hot this year). The stem is the most important part of the pumpkin picking process. Kellie's had a "dark green stem", and Kate's had a "twisty curly stem". I'm sure we'll be asked (begged) to carve them everyday until Halloween. I remember as a kid carving them in the garage and running inside every couple minutes to wash our hands in hot water to warm them up. Ahhhh, memories....
Punkins
Kellie is wearing her "Kellie shirt" and Katelyn's says "I'm a hug waiting to happen"...which PERFECTLY describes Katelyn!
Next step....carving!
